Xerox Project

  1. What I like about your piece is that you broke the frame in all dimensions - width, height, and depth. The arrangement of the hands create a chaotic motion - it seems as thought their endlessly popping up - that directs the eye toward your face.

    Nice.

  2. The depth is definitely awesome, and I like the shape of the piece. Rob said it better - it's really interesting the way you broke the frame. Also, I loved the jewelry you used in your copies.

  3. I agree with the previous two posts. The different dimensions and arrangement added a unique style, and the way the images appear, direct our eyes.

However to me, the style made my eyes spin in a clockwise manner leading to your face. The hands were organized into a layer effect and they add a 3-D dimensional feel of holding the picture. There is also a frame scheme in your project. The black/white color of the xerox hands appear to be the frame, outlining your face. Your face was the main picture and full flesh of color.

I also liked how you added jewelry to the piece, the gold chain the middle, and the bracelets with your xerox hands. It adds to the colored frame appearance along with the different symmetry of the hands.

    Great Job.

  4. i love yours!!
I really like how you continued copying the same hand over and over again, each time the contrast gets greater and greater.

I also like how you chose to make the center picture of your face in color and then have the black and white hands frame your face.

  5. its really cool how you incorporated the "bling", the way the chain set on the photocopy machine is awesome and the glasses add to the piece too, it remind me of a rap video or something. I also like how your hand were B&W and you made the center color. It creates a great sense of depth

  7. The different dimensions and angle of your project really make it stand out! I really like the layering too. The black and white xerox copies also contrasts really well with the center image of your face. Great job!!

  9. I like how you used your hands to frame your face...the fingers pointing inward draws my eyes to the center of your face, which I like because the color is a nice contrast to the black and white outline.
